Anantnag : June 08 ,2018 (KNO) : Anantnag Police arrested a drug peddler and recovered 55 packets of dried poppy (fukki) during a raid.
In its endeavor to weed out drug menace from the society, police party led by DYSP HQRS Anantnag Shri Burhan Kanth KPS acting on specific information raided a residential complex in Prakashpora Anchidoora area of Anantnag and recovered 55 packets of dried poppy ( fukki) and arrested the accused person from the spot.
The team was accompanied by Naib Tehsildar Anantnag. In this regard a case FIR No 93/2018 stands registered in Police Station Anantnag and further investigation is going on
